Reviews
- Edited 2 years agoWell, i can agree with most of the reviews here, i cant compare with other pressings but this one sounds fairly ok, still isn't better than my Neon Bible and The Suburbs 2017 press in terms of quality...
- If any album deserves a remaster it’s this. The music is amazing but the mastering on every version is subpar. With its 20th anniversary coming in a few years hopefully this will receive the treatment it deserves with an in-depth remixing and mastering job and the double-LP 45 RPM treatment (it’s already pushing it at 48 minutes on 1 LP). If you can find it for cheap on vinyl I wouldn’t tell anyone not to buy it but with the way it sounds right now it isn’t worth $20. I found it used for $12 and felt like that was a fair price.
- Does anyone happen to have an extra copy of the booklet, or hi-res scans? I bought a copy of this exact pressing from a record shop, but it didn't come with the 4-page leaflet as described here. If someone is willing to send me hi-res scans I would settle for that (and just print out and make my own booklet). Please DM me, thanks!
- I haven't checked the other versions, but this is a beautiful packaging and fantastic sounding pressing
- Wow. Just.. wow... Probably the best vinyl in my entire collection. Absolutely amazing; dead silent all throughout. Hearing it on vinyl is an absolute experience.
- Might have a newer reissue, or alternate version? My copy has brown labels rather than blue. Runouts and hype sticker are as pictured.
