Show All 26 Reviews- Literally one of the best sounding records in my collection the packaging leaves a little to be desired but the jacket is sturdy
- Really Really good pressing! But way too much bass!!! It even is too much when I turn the bass at -3 on my sound system…
- I think this one sounds incredible. When I first played it, I wasn't a huge fan of how thick-bass sounding it was when State of Grace kicks in. But after a couple of mins of getting into it, I realize how much it complements the record. Overall, it sounds amazing and I go back multiple times to listen.
- Anyone else wish they'd make a 10" or 12" single for All Too Well (10 minute version)? I really just want it for that one song, but not going to buy the whole album just for it alone :(
- what makes this copy different from the other “made in Germany” standard release aside from it being bundled with a slipmat (which was available separately)?
- this pressing sounds incredible. tho it seriously annoys me when so much trouble is gone to for sound quality, then the records are shipped in paper!
- I got to listen to two different pressings of this album, one from Germany and one from France. It was a mixed experience for both. The covers were of similar quality. The sleeves were of a thicker paper in the German pressing. The vinyl was quieter on the German pressing but it had many scuff marks and one song was slightly audibly affected for a short duration. The French pressing was clean on all surfaces but one LP was pressed off centre. The sound quality was better in the German pressing for whatever reason even though it was the same mastering I assume. I thought they would sound the same but this opened my eyes to the effect of the pressing plants on the sound not just the superficial packaging and record quality control. So even with the flaws I would suggest choosing the German made version for the sound quality if you have a choice.
- sounds awesome, the 45rpm really makes a difference. the 2LPs in each side of the gatefold was a terrible decision, theres basically no way to store them without damaging the sleeve. i think this should have been a box set
