this pressing sounds incredible. tho it seriously annoys me when so much trouble is gone to for sound quality, then the records are shipped in paper!

I got to listen to two different pressings of this album, one from Germany and one from France. It was a mixed experience for both. The covers were of similar quality. The sleeves were of a thicker paper in the German pressing. The vinyl was quieter on the German pressing but it had many scuff marks and one song was slightly audibly affected for a short duration. The French pressing was clean on all surfaces but one LP was pressed off centre. The sound quality was better in the German pressing for whatever reason even though it was the same mastering I assume. I thought they would sound the same but this opened my eyes to the effect of the pressing plants on the sound not just the superficial packaging and record quality control. So even with the flaws I would suggest choosing the German made version for the sound quality if you have a choice.

Discs 1 & 3 feels light but discs 2&4 feel heavy. Anyone elses copy like this?

sounds awesome, the 45rpm really makes a difference. the 2LPs in each side of the gatefold was a terrible decision, theres basically no way to store them without damaging the sleeve. i think this should have been a box set

6 of 8 sides pressed off center, for this price the quality is terrible really

Only a few minor pops here and there on my copy (which is visibly scuffed on two of the four discs unfortunately). Audio quality is great overall. Hope she cuts at 45 going forward. To get a Taylor Swift record that sounds this good on good playback gear is rare. The master is good too. I wonder why this wasn't lacquered at Stirling Sound, and who actually done it? Weirdly; disc two is considerably heavier weight than the other three discs (if I had to guess; at least 50% heavier). Very odd. Is the the case for others? Happy overall.

Grabbed this black copy because my red copy of this was pressed off center on side G. Grateful this was more playable on that side now for me

This is a good (but not great) sounding 4LP release. The quality of my MPO (France) pressing is about average...some noise and non-fill after a multi-step cleaning. The worst part is that several sides were not centered well and had to be fixed. I find this to be a more frequent problem for 45 RPM releases. I was a bit disappointed to see that unlike recent vinyl releases from Taylor Swift, the lacquer for this title was NOT cut by Sterling Sound. Aside from production issues, the content is golden and the music is a welcomed addition to my collection. If you are purchasing the vinyl format of this release, I think it might be worth trying to acquire the German pressing done by Optimal. My copy came from Amazon and was a gift, so I had no option here.

45 RPM all the way! This things sounds incredible! Packaging is a bit of a let down. For this price you shouldn't be cramping 4 lp's in a standard gatefold... On the other hand, it being a gatefold, meant I could use a standard gatefold sleeve as protection. I'm still looking for a proper protective sleeve for my Fearless album...

Stellar copy, got on Amazon and it’s the “made in Germany” version. All the discs are in great shape, a little debris and dust but no major scratches or blemishes. Amazed that all 4 discs and new 3-ply sleeves (as well as the original printed sleeve) all fit in the gatefold with an outer sleeve 🙌
