After years of owning this, just heard it again yesterday and I must say that aside from HMC being probably my all time favorite producer of acid/minimal tech, this guy was making tracks waaay ahead of his time.
This record is another example of that minimal but bumpin style of his. I'm super picky with the minimal techno, because 90% of the stuff out there is snoozefully boring with no soul and nothing that would make your hips shake involuntarily (which is essential in all dance tracks). HMC has the rare gift of injecting soul into tracks that are supremely lean & efficient in it's structure. Which imo is what makes great minimal. This record still sounds fresh and would be perfect for these days where minimal techno seems to be ruling the world.
