Reviews
- This version is much cleaner than the green one (which I exchanged for this), which was noisy, but both sound great. It's the most mellow Elbow album yet, for sure. I suppose it's what they thought we all needed something relaxing "during these times." It doesn't have any obvious standouts right off the bat, and might take a few listens for it to sink in. Unfortunately their worst album cover since Build A Rocket Boys. Five stars for sound quality & pressing.
- Gorgeous album - and sounds fantastic. My pressing is faultless. It’s low key and understated. A nice shift from the also great, but dark, prog leanings of the last album.
- Sounds great! Another amazing album by one of the greatest bands. It's a mellow album but not a departure from all the mellow songs on their other albums. Don't hesitate to buy this album!
- actually I think it´s their best release to date - can´t expect an artist to keep doing what he is doing forever - I think it´s a good change
- Been a fan of Elbow for a long time now and I must say, this is their worst release. It's boring and goes nowhere to me at least. It's like one long song with some music playing and Guy rambling on. Snooze-fest and something I wouldn't even listen to in the background.
