The breaks on Cells are unique - very stiff and slathered in reverb, but unlike any drums I've heard before. Reece bass near the end doesn't seem to fit, and seems to have been added in as an afterthought. But overall, cool dark vibes, and definitely cleaner-sounding than most of the stuff on Torque. 'Copies' isn't bad, a stepping, skipping drum pattern and subtle acid touches - kind of like Optical meets DJ Krust.

An awesome collaboration between DJ Trace and Nico with possibly one of the longest build ups in D&B history, on 'Cells', and what a 'Reece' drop too! 'Copies' is no slouch either.

The dialogue featured in both tracks is lifted from Masamune Shirow's 'Ghost In The Shell' anime movie.

A - 'Cells repeat the process of degeneration and regeneration'. 'All things change in a dynamic environment'.

AA - 'A copy is just an identical image. There is the possibility that a single virus could destroy an entire set of systems and copies do not give rise to variety and originality'.
