Being a late adopter on this by at least a couple of years; I must add that it's one of my favourites.

On my Archer pressing with the 70mm ring, the sound drops out a couple of times briefly (less than a second) towards the end of 'Final Frontier'. Is this the same on all copies of this pressing?

My other copy with the 32mm 'muffin type' ring does not do this.

The main reason this has never been repressed is that Mike Banks told a story that he had lost the master plates to this release........

I completely understand this release is more than just the iconic 'The Final Frontier' A side however if it's that track you're after it can be found on vinyl on the compilation (link below) on Disc 1 (side B) for significantly less that the current market rates for UR003

I have this release but I really hope it will be repressed shortly because people should not pay this ridiculous prices to own a piece of music history

So this is actually from 1991 which makes sense as it's 003... Wow, this means that this release is even more of a game-changer! The Final Frontier is obviously the classic here but Base Camp Alpha 808 is a tough as nails immense bass rumbler on the Electro tip...
                    • I was given a cassette with these tracks on it and more by my producer back in 91, his friend had just finished recording them and he wanted to know what I thought of it. I biked around NYC listening to it, and all I thought was "WOW, this is very interesting music!!" No I don't have the cassette anymore, it got lost in the past, but finding this brings back great memories! It made the pop music I was making sound so lame, I am so glad I ditched that.
