- My copy is noisy. Lots of snap, pops and crackles
I'm happy for all of you, but I got a bad copy. I have cleaned it three times with the Record Friend (same as Spin Clean), re-adjusted the weight and tracking force on my tonearm, cleaned the stylus and the pops won't go away, the vocals sound muffled, distorted, at times it clears up like if you were adjusting an EQ, and it skips on Judy. I was so excited to get this anniversary edition but it is unplayable.
The comments on the 2018 release are good, maybe I should get that one.- Except for the colour this is the same sounding version as this one, right?

Is it really any more "transparent" than the other really expensive red re-issue from 2019?
Have had this on vinyl other times (including an original)... and CD... and cassette... and streaming of course. This is the most dynamic and pleasantly warm this album has ever sounded. Not sure if they're the same plates as another release (in which case, same goes for that one!) but this is *definitive*- The sounds is absolutely amazing, very quiet and dynamic. No pops or hisses whatsoever. Amazing for such a lo-fi, indie record from the 90s. And the red vinyl looks amazing!
