Just a short note to say that beyond the classic track (Tone Exploitation, a superb example of european techno-house), the whole EP is excellent : Megatone (B1) is a slow blaster with an intriguing heavy synth bass, Tonetrance(A2) feels equals to tracks like Project 86's (an obsessive synth bass on a Nu Groove-like breakbeat), with the added value of that more lively ESP style.
Only the last one (Triptone - B2) is a bit repetitive with a distorted synth line on a variating rhythm section.
Sure, this one is not only a classic, but a classic that style works!

This record had a very long lasting life. Now it is 13 years old and yet still would move a dancefloor today. O. Voorn did such a good job at doing his own cover version of "Energy Flash" that it took on a life of its own. Techno-Rave music at the peak of the night. When the underground tracks make way into the greatest of all time section, this was an east coast memory that made everyone dance past sunrise.
