Reviews
- Star Dancer has to be one of my absolute fave techno tracks ever. The track has such a great energy about it... that instantly recognizable bass and kick pattern at the start, the splashy snares, those whirling phasey stabs. It really embodies that special time in music for me. I remember it getting played loads at Voodoo at Le Bateau in Liverpool (what a club!) and would send the floor into a frenzy. Personally, I like to start mixing the next track in during that bit in the middle where it returns to the bass and kick pattern - it feels good when you can time that just right ;-)
- Edited 2 years agoStardancer reminds me of Mr. FInger's track Stars from 1987.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ISdn1YjyaKU - Edited 2 years agoLoved this since hearing it on Kiss FM (UK) in 1993, absolutely hypnotic bassline. Is this sampled from Sequential - Prophet or vice versa?
- We can not describe such kind of tracks. It's like tryin to catch the wind. Detroit at its best. What an energy!
We are all blessed to feel it and share it with the generation. - I have a copy on which no title appears. There is only the label. I would have had to wait until discogs existed to know the title and the artist.
- I've got a copy of this on transcluscent brown vinyl....I can't see that listed here on discogs. Anyone got any ideas?
