Has anyone else had a problem with skipping on side D? Mine seems to have an issue/locked groove at the end of 'Now's the Time'

This is a superb release. Records are perfect pressings. Sound quality is of course slightly limited due to it being a mono live recording from 60 years ago but having said that, all the instruments can be clearly heard and all are nicely detailed.
Lastly the cover and booklet is well put together.
All in all a wonderful document of a golden age of jazz music.

Someone at Blue Note made a boneheaded decision to put a stack of 5x7 cards inside the sleeve with first disc. The result is a warped side A. If you don't have a periphery ring/weight to flatten the disc, you might be considerably disappointed. Great album otherwise (and those cards are sure nice to look at).

Late contender for the best overall vinyl release of 2021. One I'll listen to hundreds of times. Warm, inviting, dynamic, and beautiful music performed under extraordinary circumstances (of the best kind!).

If you are reading this and on the fence (maybe because of the price, the fact that it isn't a studio recording, the fact that it's 2 LPs, etc...), buy now or cry later.

Why they gotta put those horrible FBI logos on the sleeves. Only some labels do it and it wrecks the artwork and assumes you're some kind of criminal. It's especially idiotic on LPs.

Just received my copy. Playable but both discs badly dish warped. Love the album, disappointed in the pressing

I’m not sure this is a Mono pressing. The front cover states “Stereo”. This is the RTI pressing, the other entry is the Optimal pressing. The packaging on this one is pretty great.

How can you tell the difference between the mono and stereo version? Is there even a mono version?

Finally got my hands on a copy of this wonderful moment in time.
I didn’t know what to expect based on other comments but for $40
how could you go wrong, hell anything with Lee Morgan on it I’m in.
Must say for a live recording I’m very pleased. I’ve heard much worst
and nothing to think of any better. I have a pretty revealing system and it’s pure joy and energy coming from these speakers. If you’re on the fence hurry and get off it before they are gone. Amazon is giving them away.
Enjoy your holidays people, we deserve it. 😎
