Pressings were performed by local companies of each country. That means that matrix/runout and disc labels will differ from one country to another. For example the Box Sets sold in Greece's local market, were pressed/made by EMI Greece, so they have EMI's Greece disc labels and matrixes/runouts.

There are more versions that the listed. For example , there is a Greek press which is identical to the original except for the disc label on all 9 records.

Looking at the run-out groove of the last album in box set #07210, Uprising, I can see a faint stamped "MadeinGermany" followed with light etched "Graeme- Sound Clinic" strong stamped "202462 A-1/805" light etched roman numeral eight "VIII" Now here are my thoughts. The numeral 8 could mean the last studio album, as there are 9 albums in the box-set, but one of them is a live album. That's my guess anyway. Looking up Graeme Sound Clinic, it was a sub-studio of Island right around the time this came out in 1981, based in Chiswick/London. Graeme Durham and John Dent both worked there until 1986, so I think Mr. Durham did the wonderful mastering job on this box-set based on the run-out etching. I also think that this was mastered in Chiswick/London, then sent out to various countries for the pressing, such as Germany for my copy. Those are my findings and opinions on this great sounding boxset, I was curious as to who did the mastering job. Apparently Graeme went on to work at the Exchange in London, another excellent mastering studio still open to this day!

Thanks for that info on the box set I have one it's never been opened and I've always wondered about it . Kind of scared I guess to open it since it has the certificate and stuff kind of don't want to ruin the value but
reading about it makes me really just want to open it up and jam out so thanks for the info

Love love love mine. Bought in September 2016 at a car boot sale for £2. Unbelievable. Box is a bit tatty and is missing the certificate and book but I don't care 😊. Still quality listen.

The organ (syntetizer?) sound in the end of Satisfy My Soul is missing of this pressing.

This is the best sounding Marley stereo (2.0) I've ever heard, despite this being rather thin vinyl (being it was released in the early 80s) it was beautifully cut and pressed. The mastering is wonderfully open and dynamic and given the year we know this is all analogue. Looking for the best sounding Marley? Keep your eye on one of these, I got mine last year for around US$150 or so, so you don't necessarily have to shell out $350+ for it. Mine was brand new and sealed. I believe these were sealed to be shipped for some US distribution out of the UK based on how old and brittle the seal was when I broke it.

I listened to Uprising first, I had goosebumps all over and a massive smile on my face...was only intending on listening to the first track for sonics as I was in a bit of a rush to get out the door, ended up listening to the whole side.

The only time I've heard some Marley sound better than this is the new 5.1 mix of Exodus by Bob Clearmountain found on the new 30th anniversary Blu-ray edition of Legend. But if you're looking for stereo, look no further. You won't regret adding this box set to your collection.

the natty dread here being an alternative mix, different than the usual album release
