Edited 12 months agoSuperb-sounding record! Nothing but the best for this monumental thrash classic! Don't let posers going on about the production steer you away from getting this record or even an original pressing. There's no sibilance, there's round bass, dynamic drum snare sound (which never distorts), and it's clear and hard-hitting at the same time. There are those who will say this album doesn't sound good or it had “bad production”, but they say the same about “Hell Awaits”, but my original European pressing (also from Roadrunner) sounds amazing, and will then turn around and claim Reign In Blood sounds great, despite its lack of bass and insane Rick Rubin-aided brickwalling and compression™. This pressing is more dynamic and more pummeling than expected!- How does this sound compared to green label Combat? Anyone??
Can anyone say if this version comes with inner sleeve? Or an insert? Because I have one bought back in the day and it hasn't the inner sleeve or insert showed in the pics here. Thanks in advance for any help/reply.- this is the correct matrix:
