- another body belongs on a silent hill OST, or a grand belial's key interlude. i guess the techno tracks are ok too.
- Another Body obviously samples or reconstructs a portion of Coil's remix of Scorn.
- Edited 13 years agoTrack "Prowler" contains a sample of "Hamburger Girl" by Throbbing Gristle.
You can hear it near the end of the track (it's the gated female voice).
Other tracks probably include other samples but i haven't been able to identify them yet.
Quality record btw !!!
- Edited 17 years agoRather of a turning point for the Counterbalance label where Anthony Child starts to lean even more into the industrial and "IDM" sound. The title is based on P.Miller and M.Devon's "Screw the roses, send me the thorns", a book based on the romance of SM... which makes the sounds being used on this ep understandable :p
