I guess we all agree: This is not just about picture discs. This is about someone screwing up Bowie's best album big time - just a quick pressing for all people out there who enjoy having their names shouted out (and hand-written on a cup) after ordering a Latte. And then going home and hang it in the kitchen – to be cool and being able to say - to fancy visitors: "Oh, well, yeah, Bowie, we like him"

Cleaned mine with a custom made ultrasonic cleaner so no crackle or hiss. However, my copy came with THREE skips track 1, side 2, Fill Your Heart. It seems to be ‘embedded’ in the pressing. Very poor… :-(
First 45 seconds of side 1 has a huge pop. Overall sound not great. Got it cheap but need a better copy for listening.
Sounds truly appalling, although I picked it up for £8 so I'm not really complaining.
Edited 7 months agoBuen diseño y original “picture disc” pero con sonido mediocre, con mucho ruido de fondo y clics. Tengo varios “picture disc” incluidos varios 7” de la serie 40th aniversario y este sin duda es el peor,- Edited 7 months agoGreat looking record, not great sounding though, because it skips a lot than I can forgive. I honestly should've listened to the reviews.
- Edited 8 months agoI bought a mint sealed copy of this and there is a scratching sound on side 1 Changes track above Bowie's left eye. Should have bought the 2016 180g copy!! Also, the vinyl won't fit in the sleeve it came in.
This was originally listed for $50 CND. Luckily, I got this from the half-price bin, so the background noise typical of picture discs is far less concerning than it would have been had I paid full price for it.- The music deserves the praise it gets, but my copy's base noise, oh my, it is like rolling car tires' sound
- My favorite Bowie album, heck one of my favorites albums of all time!, but I also suffer from an insane low frequency hum, especially side 2. It's listenable at high volume, but i'll likely never play it again! Tight bag too!
