Reviews
- This sounds very much like Diana Ross sings a Bee Gees album more than the Bee Gees produce a Diana Ross album. Some tracks are very nice, but overall it is spotty.
- Written, Produced, & Arranged with the Brothers Gibb (The Bee Gees)...sadly, this is neither one of their better efforts nor Diana's. Michael Jackson co-wrote/co-produced the title song, and it's amusing to hear his vocals on it, but it's just not a great song. Interesting though, as it is the only collaboration I am aware of between MJ & the Bee Gees.
Diana's vocals are fine, but the brothers did not write (in my opinion) a batch of great songs here...most lack the magic of their early (soul era) songs.
Production is fine for 1985, but would much rather listen to Loose Ends or Starpoint from the same year--holds up a lot better.
