Would love I like to cry to get a repress on Deep Jungle.

Since this was released in March I would imagine with a few months needed to get it to press that the acetates of this were being played around late 92 and maybe a reason why people remember it as such.

I Like To Cry is one of the best Jungle b-sides. So much feels in those Issac Hayes keys..

Clarence had this tucked away in the back of his records (it was a pink one), I never heard him play it but I taped it and fell in love with it in the middle of the night somewhere in the mountains of BC on a 27 hour Greyhound back to Saskatoon for Christmas, hitting that one tape more than the other 9 I taped for the ride (aside: the bus station in Lloydminster was actually a gateway to Purgatory, you couldn't help but feel it in all the dead eyes!).

Seems to be a late 92 release - heard it in sets from the bare beginning of 93

I always thought this came out in late 1992? Mine was the pink label. And maybe I was lucky as this was a promo or freebie sent to a record shop in High Wycombe called Beat Master Records. High Wycombe was home to Sponge ;)

The ambient sound at the beginning of I Like To Cry samples The Story Become by Leo Annibaldi... https://www.discogs.com/Leo-Anibaldi-Cannibald-The-Virtual-Language/release/61985

I think I like to cry was only available on the Face white label right? Shame as it's a right face melter, a proper gurner.
