This repress… did a simple cleaning with a spin doctor. Super silent, fantastic press.- My copy sounds fantastic. Nice and quiet. FWIW, I took my carbon fiber brush (mine is from Boundless) to it before playing and picked up a lot of dust. Cleaned it off with a microfiber cloth and it sounds phenomenal.
As others have shared, mine sounds crunchy lite. But I’ve been listening to vinyl for 50 years and that’s what vinyl does sometimes. Does not bother me. I have 50 year old LPs that are clean as a whistle and in paper sleeves. Quiet. Who knows why. Such a fun chill record. Relax and groove.

Makes me feel good.- Edited one year agoI bought this at the end of December 2022 and while I'm no vinyl expert this appears to be about the worst of all the brand new records I've bought in terms of noise. I've cleaned it several times, cleaned my stylus (which is quite new), etc.. and it's just fully of noise. A certain amount of noise is OK for this album though given it's overall lo-fi tone/sound and the fact it's a phenomenal album. The drums & bass are clear. The guitar is intentionally pretty noisy and dark if you look up how he runs his setup.
My fav khruangbin album. My copy plays excellent. Minimal packaging unfortunately.- Much better than the EU pressing which i couldnt return faat enough. Its not the best but it will do well. Its still hard not to recommend the CD over this though
Loving this pressing. The sound is warm and the playing sounds sharp.- I have a very quiet pressing so I guess they are out there. Very dynamic SQ with nice air.
(Rig: Rega RP6 with Ortofon black cart through McIntosh MA5200 amp & Axiom M60 v2 speakers.) - I love the sound of the low end on this record. Very quiet surface noise on side A but more pops on side B. Very happy with the quality. Ordered from their band camp page.
