- Edited 3 months agoPeter's USA Club Mix used to bring packed dance floors to their knees. The Friburn & Urik mix was featured on one of the Queer As Folk soundtracks. Peter, you're missed greatly :(
- The Collaboration – collectively Club 69 innovator Peter Rauhofer and the Pet Shop Boys’ Neil Tennant signature harmonies deliver a must-have remake of Raze’s perennial house classic. Rauhofer clearly understands that less-is-more, opting for a softly soulful and relax production then the original which works well against Tennant’s monotone libretto and the track’s sparse arrangement of melding scratchy rhythm guitar with strumming acoustic riffs and light-handed bongo lines. Mix-wise there’s little to choose between the four sides solid reconstructions from Richard Morel and Michael Moog - each offering up edgy deep-house grooves, which compliment the frequent splashes of pop accessibility that this undoubtedly has a wealth of.
