Bô'vel – Coming Back

I know there is a reissue with a new mix of Check 4 U (which I have purchased through Beatport) but I'd love to hear Mix 1 / Mix 2 / Mix 3 - is anyone able to rip them at all?

This is getting a release again. Not sure if full reissue but they'll be a remix of Check 4 U too. Should hopefully be this year.

One of the biggest Street Soul tracks of all time. This 12 was mainly a hit through its B side Check 4 U. Once on, you could not get this off the turntable when live on air here in Manchester. Released in 96, I played a radio in the north of the city (all other pirates had been in the south) in 2000 and this was again the biggest track as we were reaching a totally new audience. The copy on here for £2k is cheap because you never see one for sale, a small pressing and still in high demand. No amount of money would make me part with my copy.

Bovel started in the Manchester underground scene back in 1995 with a 5 track EP named "Bovel". Then in 1996 she released a single named "Check 4 U" with its heavy bassline Hip Hop groove this became a much requested Pirate Radio underground Street Soul anthem.
