Reviews
- Edited 6 years agoThe other reviews mention great mastering and sound quality, so I'm assuming they're based on the CD release. I downloaded the WAV version from Bandcamp and it's awful, mastered too loud and with no dynamic range. It's tiring to listen to. A shame, as the music is - as the other reviewers here have said - mostly excellent. Try and bag yourself a CD copy if you can, I guess.
EDIT (Nov 2018): Scann-tec just contacted me via Discogs to let me know a remastered version is now available on Bandcamp (at no extra cost to those who'd bought the original Bandcamp version). The new version sounds amazing - crystal clear, properly balanced, and with a full dynamic range and soundstage. Great job on the remaster, and also on making it available at no extra cost. Other artists/labels/mastering engineers take note - this is how it should be done. - I completely agree with fabriknos on this one. Horrendous cover, fabulous music. This album sounds like it could have been released by Ultimae. It is sure to please any Ultimae fan. And with mastering by Aes Dana and Huby Sea, this should come as no surprise.
- This might be the best album with the worst cover art. Totally random cover that does nothing to suggest what depths of music lie within. Other than that one miscue, this is a flawless album full of deep ambient, slow trance and that type of atmospheric chillout that labels like Celestial Dragon, Chillcode and Ultimate have made famous over the last decade. Excellent mastering on an already rich album, equally suited for the headphones or the dancefloor.
- Edited 15 years agoAnother lovely release from Celestial Dragon Records. Hauntingly beautiful music and undoubtedly one of the very good downtempo releases of 2010. A real treat for the fans of 'Sundial Aeon (Sundial)'. Very good stuff !!
