Wow what an absolute classic release. So what if it didn't get caned in the clubs or Pirate stations, its just a timeless piece of superbly written music.

When I think about my late teens and the effect these tracks had on me, it always has and always will put a huge smile on my face. The soaring vocals of Diane, the incredible arrangements by Rob & Goldie, the gritty beats and huge rumbling basslines.

Somehow Inner City Life did crossover to the MTV/Pop Darkside but its stood the test of time and is now a bonafide 90s classic pop record, being bigger than just drum & bass. I love both of these tracks for so many reasons and you should too.

Never really felt this tune like a lot of people did. Nice enough record, but it always felt like an Mtv record, I don't really remember hearing it in the raves or on the pirates. I've often seen it listed in various lits of greatest jungle drum n bass tunes, but could never see how. But then I was never as fussed by Goldie as many were, Terminator being my personal favourite of his back catalogue.
