Notes
'Charming Hades' is the latest studio album by electronic musician & live performer Phil Bilsby under the alias Ebcidic.
This nine track industrial ambient drone album develops the dark atmospheres and soundscapes that underpins his previous Techno output and live performances while also introducing a harder more abrasive side with the incorporation of elements of noise. The album explores the broad possibilities allowed by the extreme limitation forced by composing & performing solely on a single instrument viz. the Soma Laboratory Lyra-8 organismic synthesiser.

All nine pieces were recorded as single live takes, using the Lyra-8 and live FX processing namely the Tiptop Audio Z-DSP running the Halls of Valhalla reverb card, with minimal post-production editing.
