Excellent sounding pressings. This box set is constructed well too.

I remember buying this, alongside Mike Oldfield's 'Boxed' set.

By far the best compilation of TD content, if only because it is limited in time to their classic era. Well balanced excerpts and full sides, and contains three hard-to-fine early solo works, even though Edgar Froese had already release five solo albums at this point.

Its a supreme shame that this was never reissued as CDs, but if you are one of those folks who still listens to vinyl (I'll not start a debate about that one!) this is worth grabbing and enjoying. Strangely, even though I moved on from vinyl decades back, this is one set I'd fancy having just for the box and booklet.

Fantastic introduction to the innovative German electronic group, Tangerine Dream. As the name of this 4LP alludes, the set chronicles a decade of the group's career, starting with their early mind-blowing experiments to their more melodic sound towards the end of the 70s. The collection even includes some hard to find solo releases from the group members that are as equally as impressive as the group's work. Some may be put off by the excerpts of some of the longer pieces but this didn't bother me as I was looking for an easy way to dive into the TD world. Comes with a massive booklet full of photos of the band throughout the years. Highly recommended.
