Great foray into hardcore by respected producer Tony Mansfield! Anyone know where the breakbeat sample is from?

Just heard this record for the first time, sounds slick, especially we Is 1 those vocals are dope!
For the lovin' you track I recognise the pad to be from 1986's band Minox with their track "Purgatoryo"

Absolutely bonkers ep. Wish this would be repressed or released as digital, really looking for a HQ rip

Decent record, I wrote about it on my site many years ago. AA side is the one, nice and vibey.

I gotta wonder though: why is it that whenever a throwback non-house/techno record gets popularized by a DJ inside that scene, a million collectors proceed to pollute the comments section on here begging for people to sell copies and direct DM'ing people who clearly don't plan to sell? It's not like this is a mental mega-rare obscurity which never appears for sale on this site... 8 copies of this sold in 2018 alone! Probably a few more which weren't transitioned to the right status to show in sale history.

This is Discogs, not Amazon Prime. You're not guaranteed to be able to own an obscure 25+ year old record within 48 hours of hearing about it, or your money back. Add it to your wantlist and wait, it'll show up eventually.

Not to be (more) negative, but I'm guessing most people commenting here are so desperate and vocal for a copy because they're only interested in this record for however long it takes for one of the validated online diggers/ djs they crib selections from to find another random obscurity for them to obsess over. . At which point they'll be onto that record's discogs entry, begging for copies there, yet again leaving a trail of useless "sell me this record!" comments in their wake.

I'm not sure who is the artist, but it's not just a white label. "100% Love" was a label started by Tony Mansfield - a guy from late 70's "New Musik" UK band. Probably it was the one and only record though.

I have just picked this track up in the hope that it is what I have been searching for since it's release way back in 1992. This is it. 'Lovin You' which is the main track on this 12' is simply superb. As stated, Minnie Riperton's sampled vocal has been wonderfully worked with a faded out reverbed delay. The track has an almost tribal/ambient vox which seems to hypnotisingly capture the listener running throughout, almost Bukem style. With real nice uncomplicated warm drums and beautiful chords. This is an absolute must for the real hardcore collector.
              Put simply. Buy on sight.
