Reviews
- Absolutely phenomenal release and pressing – was treated with the utmost care, as others have mentioned. Beautiful and airy recording, spacious almost 3d mastering. No complaints on the pressing quality: flat, quiet etc.
- Peter Christopherson was an amazing mind. His music unfolds. Starting off like a meddling primordial mucus, and evolving into a sweet succession, and arrangement of sounds.
- Bigup for repressing this... what an incredible record, i totally agree this is up there at the summits of the heights that Coil scaled !!
- You most likely already know what a great album this is, so I'm not commenting that. But what a marvellous sounding pressing this is! This is done with care and respect. Sound is very spacious and jumps out of the speakers. It is very clean-sounding and dynamics are great. No backgound noise, distortion, pops or clicks.
- What a treasure this is. As good as any Coil and the sound of this pressing is just top notch. The labels are all wrong on each side but it plays out in the right order as it's supposed to just mislabeled. Quality like this is what makes going to the trouble and expense of getting this on vinyl. I got a copy with a crushed corner unfortunately but I'll live.
- Clean vinyl on delivery with a great pressing, very quiet. This pressing sounds slightly less distinct in the top end as compared to the digital version I have on my desktop but overall it's a great listen. I agree that the label misprint is a ridiculous oversight to make but at the end of the day it's really only cosmetic. I'm happy with my copy.
- I personally don't care what song is actually on which side , the music is beyond that! So hypnotic and intoxicating. Beautiful pressing, too.
- VERY irritating that the labels are completely wrong... in all other aspects it feels like something over which great care has been taken, but the labels do rather spoil it.
