Notes

With over 10 years experience in the industry, ICE CREAM RECORDS felt it was time to put this double pack together. Since our launch on July 28th 1995 we have managed to create a very supportive underground flavour, giving you value for money. From our first release by R.I.P, “PICK ME UP”, our journey will continue in making and supplying the demand just to give you an up date soon to be released on Tommy Musto’s U.S label a 3 track E.P. by R.I.P. we have recently set up our subsidiary labels being Boom City Records and Side Street Records with the welcome of two new producers; Andy Mowatt and raw Pleasure. We also have a full range of Ice Cream merchandise. Ice Cream Records would like to thank all DJ’s that have supported us all the way and for keeping this scene alive. We would also like to thank all independent record shops for pushing the music and the hard working punters for keeping the scene in business.

RIP Productions' "Oh Baby" is a quintessential slice of mid-'90s UK Garage that perfectly captures the energy and innovation of the genre's early days. With its infectious vocal sample, warm bassline, and shuffling 4x4 beat, this track is both a dancefloor filler and a nostalgic trip for seasoned ravers.

The production duo, responsible for some of the most iconic garage anthems of the era, bring their signature blend of soulful grooves and club-ready beats. The track is a masterclass in minimalism, using a stripped-back arrangement to let the rhythm and vocal hook shine through. It's raw, it's punchy, and it feels like pure euphoria when played through a proper sound system.

This release is a must-have for any serious UK Garage collector. While "Oh Baby" isn't as widely known as some of the duo's other hits, it's a hidden gem that embodies the spirit of the underground scene.
