This pressing is excellent and sounds like it was properly mastered to vinyl. Our copy is flat, quiet, and centered...end to end super dynamic and super clear soundstage.

We bought this pressing AFTER seeing them live summer 2023. When I was younger, always loved going to shows when I did not know the material and buying the recording later. End to end these are excellent tracks and was awesome to hear them say how much fun a new album and touring was...for me TFT is the musical conscience of Gen X!

So nice to hear Carina Round in the backing vocals! Picked this up to prep for Darker Waves Festival in Huntington Beach, CA this month. They played a number of tracks from this plus some 80s. Their voices are still lovely in the moonlight.

If I had grass which is this green, I'd call in the council to have it removed.

I can confirm that my indie green version is perfectly flat, centred and fairly noise-free, one or two pops aside and yes, no non-fill!

The mastering is quite a bit better than the CD and digital versions as it doesn’t feature any of the brickwall limiting that those do - but the sound is still somewhat compressed, as per the mixes.

Still - it’s a great album and now an instant classic. And the lithograph is a really nice touch.

I also noticed severe non-fill (very obvious because it is only in the right channel) in the Target blue version, but tried another one and it was fine. As you can see in just the posts here some people with green say it's dead quiet and others say it has noise and non-fill. There seems to be variability from copy to copy for the same versions. Also, can someone clarify whether the Indigo books (Canada) Sea Foam version is the same one as this one. The product photo looks like the same color, but the barcode number is different though.

it's pretty good for colored vinyl. surface noise is fairly low. but better pressing can definitely be done.

My indie green vinyl plays very well with almost no surface noise except for a little in the right channel at the beginning and end of the last track on side 1. The mix is a bit muddy in parts especially after listening to the Dolby ATMOS version of this album which is phenomenal! I find guest vocalist Carina Round’s voice to be lost and blurry in the vinyl playback where as in Dolby ATMOS it stands out. Great new songs and it’s comforting to have the band back!

Great album, fantastic pressing, shame about the lack of dynamic range.

I made the mistake of getting the blue Target edition with the bonus 7''. Tons of surface noise, almost unlistenable. Don't do what I did, get this one. Almost dead quiet, it's excellent.

Re: Green vinyl. Poor quality GZ vinyl. Some non-fill. Very congested sound due to over conpression, limited dynamic range.
Love the music but this is far off from audiophile territory
