Reviews
- i myself became a dj on house parties; you know, the one that is putting on the records. taking things from 'a origin' type of view; in jamaica a dj is called selector. it is a very specific kind of dj'ing, and not perse incorporating techniques like beatmatching and such..
- Fantastic old-school mix. 5/5.
Only bad thing is that it sounds a little too bright imo, vol 2 is also too bright. At least my copies do. But from vol 3 onwards they sound much more pleasant. - Edited 7 years agoI certainly want to know how this mix was made, I got it when it first came out and it has since been a high bar over the years. The first six are essential for serious mixers. Very professional mix, love it then, now and always. Apparently they where quite popular in Europe as well, lol, I think me in Midwest US was the exception.
- Track 32 - shown on the sleeve of the cd as "Leftfield" : "More Than I Know" - is actually the other side of the same 12" wich is Leftfield's : "Not Forgotten"
