Reviews
- Album sounds incredible. Like really, really good. Only bad part is I got two copies of side 1+2. Back to Walmart for this guy. That aside, it sounds great.
- A very good sounding pressing of an awesome record. It sounds as good as I’ve ever heard this record sound. The bass and the drums are nice and punchy as they should be on a Metallica record. Dynamics on the quieter moments of the record (The Unforgiven/Nothing Else Matters) are very good. The sleeve is a nice sturdy gloss unlike some of the Walmart/Target/etc records which come in cheap cardboard. The discs are a black/grey smoky translucent which is a very nice touch. Can’t beat it for the price!

Dayton Audio HTA100 Tube Amplifier
Klipsch R-50M Speakers - Edited 5 months agoI have never owned this album in any format but have heard all these songs hundreds of times. When I listened to Enter Sandman for the first time in this release, I heard hi-hat sounds I had never heard before. Simply an amazing pressing!
Mine came with poly-lined sleeves (always a nice touch) and both records were super clean (I still wash my new records), however the second record did have some static right out of packaging. Cleaned both records and used my anti-static brush. Still heard some pops on the second record while playing. First record was super quiet.
Overall really satisfied with this release! Soundstage is really nice and the drumkit sounds fantastic to me. Will use the anti-static brush on the second record again to see if those pops go away - Does anyone have 'this copy' but it's just double black vinyl? I've got one that has the code at the bottom for this and d**n as I'm writing this I remembered I bought this used and am now realizing someone swapped the discs................ :(
- Absolutely incredible pressing of this album, highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good-sounding copy!
- Wax is flawless, mastering is fantastic! The vinyl is a tad quiet, but does benefit from some crankin'.
- Does anyone else have a Black Belt - Levi cut of this one? (BLCKND008R-1W) barcode 850007452728. Not CB. Sounds awesome all the same.
- Wow does this sound good!! Super impressed. Just get a copy.
