Bit of a missed opportunity [again]...

There is an amazing treasure-trove of excellent B-sides and alternative mixes still uncompiled. The various versions of "Hey Music Lover" [by William Orbit, Daniel Miller etc, but not the lame US versions by Shep Pettibone; and I really wish someone would re-release "Have A Nice Day" on CD, a pummeling acid B-side. ] are some of the best, most interesting remixes of the period. Plus a couple of vintage Baby Ford versions are out there, too.

S-Express still seem to represented as a bit of silly late-80s kitsch, whereas they were actually a pretty awesome bunch of producers pushing mainstream dance music into some very strange places. I recommend you track down some of the old CD singles.

This 2010 Re-release is a good thing for the S'Express fans like me :o). It's the same album like the 1989 version on Rhythm King, completed with four bonus tracks from the 12" releases. The interest is the booklet wich is more detailed with lot of informations & pictures from the 80's group era. But i think the group deserved a better artwork release wich is very poor compared to it's original forms.
