Feel Real Good pressing quality is a tad muffled but for the price a few adjustments on your mixer will make it right.

Mr. Kirk sound quality is great.

Overall happy with the release as some quality bits of oldskool hardcore history.

A: Breakbeat. Sample heavy with a dollop of hip-hop and vintage electro. Perhaps seminal for some but thin sounding and limited to me. The repeated sample is the fairly grim "I'm sorry Mr. Cook, you better come down to the station house your son is DEAD". It is likely meant as a hard hitting anti drugs warning but while worthy (and while sadly we can't quite claim to have truly past this era of death by drug overdose) it just seems a bit of a downer to be honest, rather than a celebratory slab of vintage dance music. B: Breakbeat/Hardcore. Wow, serious old school piano loop that will instantly put a smile (back) on your face (see above). There's a background of a crowd cheers that's unnecessary because they will be anyway, then the pitched up 'Real good" vocal sample. Breakbeats kick in and synths develop. There's a vintage breakdown with off key sample that's totally of it's time. Piano's punched in, another breakdown, vocal develop. Kinda cut and paste but that's the way it was and sounds brilliant. Euphoria inducing. [TEN]
