It's an absolute legend of a tune and I still love it now as I did then :)

In 1992, right in the middle of all the commotion of the aftermath that the demise of my "native state" GDR left behind, a DJ set was spun on our then in dire straits youth radio station DT64. I'm fairly sure it was Marusha who had just moved to Berlin and dropped a load of Breakbeat Belters on our ears like The Scientist's Exorcist and Ecstacy Takes You from this EP. On NO occation was there any annoucement what tune was played when, and for 20 years I've been sitting on a lousy tape recording of a fraction of that DJ set, trying to track down these tunes. Never again did I hear it in another set in all those years.
Those tunes -- especially the hilariously mental Ecstacy Takes You -- introduced Hardcore to me and it never let me go

Actually that "Drop It" sample is on the 2 Bad Mice remix. May have been on the promo, pulled from the official release due to clearance, and re-featured on the remixes later when they did get clearance. Not sure, only Mr Blame or Rob Playford could tell you that.

This version does not contain the seal vocal!!!.The seal vocal was only present on the promo release and as cow said it was pulled for copyright reasons.

But this is still a classic oldskool hardcore anthem.And even without the seal vocal it's still a top tune, with awesome breakbeats and good vocal samples.

The version with the Seal vocals had to be pulled for copyright violation and now sells for good money.

full on rave classic, with vocals sounding very reminiscent of Black Box and (i'm sure) a bit of Seal for the intro??? "Kick it" the sample says, and we certainly did, this was early 90s rave at its best. Great jungle beat, with vocals that got your heart pounding and your feet stompin. All the DJs had it in their set, top marks to Top Buzz who used to open their set with a slightly slowed down version which did the trick. A treasured 12" in my collection.

"The music takes you round and round", I've got a feeling this was sampled from a tune called 'hold on to love', but I cant remember the artist. Anthemic early 90 hardcore, real floor filler at the time. Remixes are much of the same. Still a classic. Z.
