I put the record on the platter and let it spin, I noticed that the outer grooves has some weird wavy-like warp in one small area. I didn't think much about it until I dropped the stylus on the record and it skipped so much during the first half of the song whenever the stylus ran thru the warped part. I cleaned it and put a record clamp but to no avail. So I returned it the next day and got a replacement sent to me shortly after. It still did the same thing on the first spin, but I let it go through the same parts of the song a few more times and it played just fine afterwards. Point is... buyer beware.
