Reviews
- I never got in to Marusha back in the days, mostly because I never saw any of her music for sale locally to me.
Found this disc for a decent price and it's pleasant to discover this music today.
I knew she existed and I might have heard some of her songs back when I could receive Radio N-joy from Germany where i used to live as a teenager in Denmark. - Edited 13 years agoMarusha stood with Westbam and others as the idols in the rave community of the 90's. This album from the artwork (with clearly rave clothing from Marusha) till the tracks demonstrate the rave culture and way of life of that era. Too beautiful, too happy, too naive in a positive way. Raveland, Go ahead, the hardcorised It takes me away, Upside down and the mega hit Somewhere over the rainbow have even now a meaning when i listen to them. They show me that some things are meant to exist, are still here even as memories and these songs are the legacy of our youth. Too good to forget. Enjoy. Full rave in a way you can't get bored. Melodies which fill your head and heart.
- It was a cold winter (1994) when I bought this release. From then a 12 year boy (me) was infected with rave culture. This album could be called 'turbo rave classics' still remains in the piece of my heart when I'm 21. For now I'm still listening to electronic dance music, however, not commercial type.
