An incredible release from a band who’d been dismissed as a mere “bubblegum” pop group 2 years previously.

    This LP Rocks!

Only criticism -and I can understand the reason for it’s inclusion - but if the the (slightly bubblegum scented) Peppermint Twist had been omitted, then we might have enjoyed Rebel Rouser (the intended follow-up single to The Ballroom Blitz) at it’s natural pitch, rather than the sped-up version as it appears on this release. If you have a record deck that allows you to do so - pitch adjust it down 2.4, and listen to how GOOD it sounds!

Four songs on each side though....? Too progressive by far for a (post) bubblegum Glam Rock band in ’74?

    Maybe.

Still, a TOP NOTCH LP. Five Stars.

Essential Glam Rock LP for fans of Bowie, Bolan ... and Deep Purple!!

    Yessssssssssss................

How did I not know this band until 2021? Well produced, Lead vocals are exceptional, super cool bass lines.

Fantastic classic rock album. Although Desolation Boulevard may be considered their more mature and preferred album but sweet fanny adams is the more rough and tumble cousin where the band really show off their raw talent.

An excellent album from a band who didn't know how to promote the real quality of their rock music
