Reviews
- A lovely addition to the collection of ornaments :-) Marko is a king at bridging the gap between Dub techno/ Deep House. If you listen to records like this without looking at genres, You will soon realise there sometimes shouldnt even be sub-genres. I like to play Deep Dubby stuff like this at after partys. Or basement gigs. :-) Works well for both.
- Edited 9 years agoOn his 3rd sighting on the Ornaments imprint, Marko once again delivers nothing but sonic quality.
Both tracks are an uncompromising exercise in dubby synths and reverbs, based on a serious rhythm pattern, that should be employed on a proper sound system, causing serious ruckus on the dance floor.
The hidden beauty of this release though is elicited when you switch to 33rpm, unleashing a pair of dubby behemots, that slowly trudge through the environment, leaving squinted eyes and slowly nodding heads in their wake.
As usual, the experience is pressed on a gorgeous clear marbled piece of wax.
Not to be missed!
