By far the best remix of this amazing classic is the Corsten Remix,
ferry knows how to blend classical sound with pure trance,the result is a magnificient piece of art

A superb CD. Not only does it feature Mr. Orbit's superb (and sensitive) version of Adagio, as well the Barber's original, it also contains 'In A Landscape' which is in my opinion a seriously under-rated and sublime piece of music.

Personally, I am a big fan of classical music and trance music, so this marriage sounds absolutely perfect to me. Ferry Corsten has taken an already gorgeous song and made it into an uplifting trancer that no one else but he could have done. I still highly recommend this song nearly 4 years after the remix was done, that is just how good it is.
