- Recently went back in stock on Flightless' website. No need for the second-hand market just yet for those who are wanting a copy
- exemplary pressing, well worth the wait. bass is sublime. vocals are as clear as you'd hope. i have no issues with my particular copy in regards to noise and pops.
- Love love this album so much. Really glad to have picked this variant up because it looks gorgeous and flat as all records should be. When I first played this record I had it on 33 rpm and hadn't realized it was supposed to be 44 rpm until 5 seconds into the intro song, so an indication on the center label would have been nice (unless it was indicated elsewhere and I'm just blind).
This album is very dynamic and punchy so it's good that the mixing and mastering is proper throughout. Unfortunately, I did have surface noise and pops throughout the all sides of the records. Surface noise was only recognizable on the transitional moments between songs, while the pops sometimes would come through some quiet moments on songs. This is playing it after a quick wet and dry clean, perhaps a more thorough/deep clean would get rid of the noise. Still though very pleased with how this came out as the noise was mostly unobtrusive.
One more thing, I love it when flightless makes these custom recycled cardboard outer-sleeves. I have a few other flightless cardboard sleeves and they all feel high quality. It would be great, for environmental reasons, if all records came in sleeves like the ones they make, though I understand that would make it harder to sift through a collection.
