- Pressing is good --- record is flat and quiet -- but the mastering is leaving something to be desired. A little flat, boxy, compressed at the high end. Compared to tidal, and the digital had more space and dynamics.
Bought it super cheap and ended up returning it because it was warped and kept clicking as a result. Really didn't want to have to return it. Such a shame.
Yet another mediocre pressing from Fat Possum/Memphis Record Pressing. I'm glad I waited until the price dropped on Amazon. I wish Spiritualized would associate themselves with a better label.- My copy sounds great, but holy hell… the trimming machine must've been on the fritz at the plant that day, the edges on this sucker are sharp and jagged.
Should have come with a box of cereal and some milk. Cause it is one big bowl
Spaceheads out there will recognise the first track, which was first recorded for the compilation "The Space Project" as "Always Together With You (The Bridge Song)" released in 2014. Here, it has had a marvellous melodious rework.
I love this album already.
My deluxe box set sounds amazing. Yadda, yadda, yadda, words.
