Yep, Persuader is a twisted and somewhat dark (or perhaps melancholic?) masterpiece from the tail end of Nuclear Hyde's creative output. That said, it's not really like most of their earlier acid trance, as those tracks tended to be bright, bounding, and energetic. But this is more of a plodding tune (odd to say for acid trance, but I think the adjective applies), and again, the atmosphere is somewhere between brooding and malevolent; it's just got a more wicked bent than tunes like Pesola, Axis, and Running Man. And like neurodynamo suggested, the track isn't terribly complex or flashy; it just utilizes a pensive and slightly "sharp" acid line that keeps lashing away at that unique acidic sweet-spot and just has a go. Class tune, perhaps Nuclear Hyde's last truly great track.
