Reviews
- Once again with getondown: upscaled, blurry cover makes it look like a bootleg. Why not using proper source-material?
- Very decent pressing. The sound is bangin, great bass, but volume is a bit too quiet. It should be 2lps. The gatefold looks stupid w/o the second one. And dont forget u get 3 bonus best buy tracks with this pressing so dont hesitate...
- Edited 2 years agoNot a bad pressing, but would've made more sense to split it across 2 LPs given it's already a gatefold, such an obvious missed opportunity. Plays pretty damn quiet, you really gotta turn this one up, and lacks a bit of depth. Artwork looks pretty cheap imo, the images and especially front text are very noticeably blurry. Still worth picking up as this is the only pressing of this album and it's still pretty good for what it's worth
- The first one I had was seriously warped but played ok, I got sent a replacement which is all good, nice pressing sounds good and no surface noise!
I hope one day we see hegelian dialectic pressed on wax - A lot of songs for one LP, so it needs to be turned up and the low end suffers slightly. With that being said my copy has no surface noise or audio defects. A solid pressing. The artwork is decently reproduced which is rare for one of these mixtape pressings. Flimsy gatefold but the poly lined inner was a welcome surprise.
- Glad this finally got a proper vinyl release. now please finally drop ALBERT EINSTEIN!!!!!!
RIP P, he'd still smoke half the game today... - Do not buy this terrible sounding bootleg people. My old CDR that I burned from the mp3 sounds better than this.
- Edited 2 years agoI know some people were weary of this release because of Alchemist saying this wasn’t a legit release. That tweet has since been deleted, I think he wasn’t contacted about it or he’s salty about not being able to release it on ALC. Either way I wouldn’t let that deter you from the record, red color is nice and my copy plays great with no skips or pops. Gatefold is kind of overboard for 1 LP ,but the art is nice. RIP P awesome record.
