The best Aaliyah Compilation. I Care 4 U is obviously great to, but between the 2 I think this is the best compilation. The press is so good and clean! The sound is amazing on my press and I’m happy! So glad her stuff is being re-issued.
This pressing sounds phenomenal. Heavy bass and it has great sound and depth and dynamics throughout the whole pressing.
This vinyl sounds amazing!!! Nice and clean with beautiful sound. Packaging is fabulous. RIP Aaliyah

sounds beautiful and dynamic. the triple gatefold is absolutely stunning.- Fantastic 3 Record compilation. Guaranteed to have a hit or two or THREE you would enjoy. Clean and crisp packaging.
Praise the heavenly lord of vinyl for not letting this release suck. Sound quality is outstanding discs are clean and flat no warping on mine and they are scuff free this is a winner.
Sound is flawless. First two discs were very slightly warped but the third disc was weirdly extremely warped, however, the warping doesn’t affect sound at all on any of the discs. I’m so happy that they didn’t get that Barry Grint guy to horrribly half-speed master this one, because it’s way clearer and much less sibilant sounding than the self-titled VMP reissue, by far. Love it!
Edited one year agoMy copy doesn’t sound bad but the holes were too small for my player so I had to carve it out with a knife and presented in paper sleeves. $33USD for a new copy. How could it be missing age is nothing but a #?- How have they done it???
The LPs come in paper sleeves but thankfully not static ridden and no scuffs were left, phew! In fact all three records come free of any non fills and are well centered which took me by suprise as 50% of what i buy suffers one or both of these defects nowadays. The levels arent the highest but theres ZERO noise across all three discs which i find astonishing because again i was expecting a multi swap out to get a good set. Its also extrmemely crankable because while its not the most dynamic thing its been mastered well enough for the most part that i dont end up suffering listening fatigue here like i do with her CDs (in fairness my Shure M75 ii speaks beautifully more than it does truthfully!).
So....hats off to all involved in this set.... a triple LP in good packaging (bar the paper sleeves perhaps) and very well pressed to boot and all for twenty quid. Wait.....
