Took a thorough deep clean to get rid of all the dust, debris, and static that plagued these records fresh out of their sleeves. Once spotless, this pressing sounds pretty great. Loud volume, ample soundstage. The 24 bit remaster is much appreciated.

The statistic on the album was so hard that I tore one of the inserts while trying to remove the vinyl. The disc arrived extremely dirty and even after a good cleaning you still heard crackles at the beginning of the first track. On the second track the snaps are gone, but the sibilance is remarkable throughout the album. I expected a little more care with this edition that was so awaited by Mariah fans.

The shrink wrap was too tight making the corners of the sleeve dent, both inner sleeve has split from the vinyl and i find it hard to remove the vinyl from the sleeve. I’m not sure if i’m loving the remaster since it’s a bit too bright for me, i love the warm sound from the original pressing.

Glad to have a near perfect pressing of this. (I see a few scuff marks, but they're inaudible.) Mastering is also an improvement over the same tracks on the recent remasters, even though they must be sharing the same digital sources.
I was super excited for this re-issue as I am a big fan and love to have the #1's all in one place for that vibe.
My record store only had one left when I got there an the bottom right corner was smashed from someone dropping the box I guess.
Was gonna return it but it's sold out everytwere so I guess I'll deal.

Guess I lucked out; my records are flat and were relatively clean out of the box (shocking, considering GZ)--no marks or scratches either. Sounds really fab; little to no surface noise listening w/headphones. Do have a small dent in the outer sleeve.. several of the copies at my local record store already minor ring wear, so I think these had a rough transit, which may explain some of the scuffing people are seeing, etc as well.

What a hell of clicks.
Washing vinyl makes no difference.
Please avoid this RSD version.

Blown out center holes that worked their way through both inner sleeves creating huge holes in the inner sleeves. Seem splits as well. Had to return and get a new copy, fingers crossed on no issue.
