Reviews
- I picked up a NM copy recently of this classic album. I basically have nothing to compare it to except memories but I like the way this sounds and don’t feel the need to hear the MoFi. Groundbreaking album that still sounds very analog. Great mastering by Howie Weinberg.
- Based on the clues, this is probably gonna be the Rap & Hip Hop record of the month for VMP this December
- Quite possibly the greatest hip-hop album ever. This is the one that skyrocketed the genre into the mainstream and showed everyone that it was here to stay. The first 4 tracks are an incredible back-to-back display of talent. The rest of the album is no slouch either. I own the original vinyl pressing. Even though it is a little noisy, it's a fun collectible to listen to.
