Show All 11 Reviews- Bought this NM from a seller here. I don't hear any substantial crackles, skips, scratches or nothin'.
- Just got a sealed copy. Sounded mint until I flipped it over and started playing side B. Major continuous skipping from the beginning until halfway into the first song. No apparent scratch and the stylus works great. Bummer!
- Plenty of staticky noise and ticks as well as some distortion and non-fill on side A, but it sounds decent enough. I bought it in 2017 so idk maybe there was a new repress that fixed these issues, but you can't expect much quality from United.
- My copy sounds awesome, except for a recurring click during the first half of the album opener (and I’m pretty sure that’s just from when I lightly scratched it when I was drunk a few years ago). Don’t listen to the bad reviews, this pressing is fantastic. You won’t find lo-fi music as detailed as this.
- Glamorously awesome ❤️ For those who complain about the ''pressing'' (which is perfect), stay away from the prior albums to Pom Pom!
- Happy to report that this sounds great. Surprisingly great considering it's a lofi album. Nothing wrong with this stuff!
- Edited 4 years agoall albums that have thousands of people of the "have" list, have comments saying it's bad vinyl. Mine sounds fantastic, so does my friends and family's copies. maybe they just know how to clean a record or dont have suitcase crosleys
- Unsure about the comments here... I was lucky to snag a new copy for cheap at a local record store and the pressing is of perfectly good quality.
- Just purchased the mint LP. My favourite album from AP, not a filler there. Well, this is LO-Fi, so you shouldn't expect great sound from that record. For some old fans the sound of that record is too "hi-fi" anyway, compared AP's earlier works :). Great band, have seen them twice on stage.
- If you're looking for a uber "catchy-as-hell" slice of Glam Psych/Funk Rock then look no further. If your looking for quality audio then better skip this vinyl edition. There is much noise and crackles aplenty.
