I'm going to be honest here. I know I'll be getting slated and I know I have bad music taste so I don't need to be reminded of that by anyone else, thank you very much. But I've never really been too fond of the Ludovic Remix. Yes, granted, the production, recording, mastering etc is a much better calibre compared to the original Transmat version. But who cares really? I know I don't. I feel it takes away the essence from the original gritty 1990 creepy and unsettling versions entirely. In my opinion, it's less The Art Of Stalking and more a half-hearted, unfinished attempt, a 'forced' remix if you like, of 'The Art Of Off-Beat Pogoing' instead. I remember quite a few techno DJs were all over this in 1993/94 but I didn't think it particularly fitted in with so many vastly superior records at the time. It's fine in amongst a long set of other records. Yet, it kind of stands out like a male Humpback Whale's swollen knob only to be given the spanish archer AKA the cold shoulder AKA the brush off after a long promise of open sesame right at the last second. And from memory, quite irritating to effortlessly mix in with other tunes. It made me stop in my tracks on the dancefloor. I find it quite jarring. It's the original 1990 Art Of Stalking / The Worlds all the way for me, thank you very much. Creepy, subtle, hypnotic, otherwordly.

All of the below in a quick ITW with the man himself: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_SbBLU37OSs
Not that it adds anything but it's good to hear about Ludovic's mix and the titles issue (though he does not go into details at all) from the actual source.

Be carefull!! If you want the original mix, you wont find it on this record. A2 is in fact "the world's". It's the B side of the original realease (http://www.discogs.com/Suburban-Knights-The-Art-Of-Stalking/release/4680) on wich the labels were inverted. :-(
