Reviews
- I am totally clueless as to what pressing/variant I have.
It's still in its (opened) shrinkwrap with the purple hype sticker reading "Featuring 'Tangled Up In Blue' - 'Idiot Wind' - 'Lily, Rosemary And The Jack Of Hearts' PC 33235" and features Pete Hamill's liner notes in WHITE TEXT on the back cover. The matrix #'s reads as follows from what I can tell:
Side 1 (0 barely visible, stamped except - 1 D6 ): 0 P AL 33235-2F - 1 D6
Side 2 (stamped, except - 2 A13): P BL 33235-2J - 2 A13
If anyone can help out or recommend a pressing, please do! Thanks! - Edited one year agoA serious release from Sir Duke of Zimmerman, 13 years following his debut record, he is still producing the gold.
Great writing as per usual and wonderfully clean performances and recording.
Highlights are "Tangled Up In Blue", "Simple Twist Of Fate", "Idiot Wind". His classic harmonica sound is like a freight train.
Nice sounding pressing. Recommended. Four stars. - I have variant 2 but there is no T in the runout
Matrix / Runout (Runout side A, variant 2): P AL 33235-2C
Matrix / Runout (Runout side B, variant 2): P AL 33235-2AG - I'm a DJ in Bridgeport, CT at a radio station....I have my own personal copy of a first edition BLOOD ON THE TRACKS- I went to play it again and I forgot that my LP has the Side A and Side B labels reversed????? Has anyone else heard about this little quick of fate?
- I appear to have a copy of the original pressing BUT it is a promo copy. Not the Buckinghams version - but has DEMONSTRATION NOT FOR SALE in black stamped on the front and back - with an oddly shaped corner cut. I don't see this version listed anywhere for this. Any ideas?
- Adoro la música de Dylan y este disco en especial
Siempre me gustó mucho su lado country y en este disco está pletórico. - MoFi has and Ultradisc One-Step release of this album available for pre-order/coming out soon - https://www.mofi.com/product-p/mfsl45ud1s-006.htm
- Just picked up the RSD NYC mix Test press.
Nice sounding slightly different mix, vinyl sounds great and 9/10 on the quiet scale.
Bought on a whim, as an "extra". - Hi all, I have a UK copy with A2/B2 matrix numbers. The cover has a slight misprint on the Dylan photo which shows as a white spot just under the nose. If memory serves me, this became known as the 'Dewdrop' cover and was quickly withdrawn Has anyone else come across these covers?
