- Omaha Sheriff. Based on the name, I was prepared for a run of the mill country rock lp. The photos on the back look like a hippie commune ala CSNY circa 1971. Omaha Sheriff. Their only lp from 1977 was produced by Tony Visconti. This is not a country lp. It is a lost gem of a glam record. The lead singer, Paul Muggleton, soars like Freddy Mercury. The musicianship, songwriting and production are superb.
- A fantastic album, the members of the band went on to work with Judie Tzuke and the results was just as fantastic!!!
