Does anybody have some info regarding Kookie? The hyperlink sends you to the wrong artist page and i haven't able to find anything else. Is just an alias used to release this track and for this compilation? Outstanding track.
Also looking for copy, hit me up.

This is quite a different compilation from the rather unpredictably unconventional early-mid-90s in electronic music. Although it does contain some previously released material (such as Coil's "Nasa Arab" for example), this double CD compilation does offer quite a variety of strangeness to keep you on your toes for the better part of its approx. 75 minutes length.

Zoviet France and Horizon 222 open up the whole sensorium with very low-keyed ambience, which follows into Coil's "Nasa Arab", a good slow-mid tempo-ed piece to get up going on the right track. Those looking for any form of so-called "classical" techno (and sub-labels) of the era might find this compilation difficult to digest as not much is offered in terms of standard fare. Most pieces which do attempt the "techno" recipe do sound as though they were produced by post-aggro/dust industrialists, giving these pieces an edge missing from club techno of the era, as well as feeling as though something is missing from the tracks.

Personnal highlights of mine include ex-Panasonic Mika Vainion project Ø offering two pieces "Atomit" and "Eetteri" (each sounding like a mirror image of the other), Unit Moebius' elongated and hypnotic "Panta Rhei" which almost sounds like a club verion of Vromb's "Ontogenese" from his "Le Facteur Humain" album - "Panta Rhei" of course being quite a landmark piece from this compilation and reason enough to purchase on this track alone. Very rare and hard to find project Abraxas give us the somewhat abrassive and noisy "Hannibal Kantori : Swine Asphixiator" which will deffinately be a hit or miss sticks out like a sore thumb piece for most listeners. We conclude with GTO's "Take It Easy", an interesting adaptable on the "downtempo" side of the electronic spectrum, perfectly closing off this unconventional double-disc compilation.
