this is a Photograph by Kevin is one of the best albums he ever wrote. and he probably now it because there is part 2, which is going to be released on vinyl soon. back to this release – I like the piano and a little riffing and the sweet Kevin's singing. (I mean song "Stop before I cry"). you just have to hear it. 100/100 of concept of the album.
about sound quality of this (classic money rip off) beautiful gold nugget vinyl colour version – the sound from my speakers is so soft, almost not background noise. only from starting of A side is a little bit static, which crackles but when Kevin starts sing, you cannot hear it. and then it disappears so whole album is silent and you can enjoy the music.
    sound quality 80/100

This may be the best Morby album yet...I know that's saying a lot and might not be true...but these songs all seem completely thought out...put together perfectly...sounds fantastic on vinyl...and obviously this is my generation's Dylan.

Brilliant album, excellent follow-up to Sundowner. Was concerned reading reviews that this might be the dud version to get but took a chance. Glad I did — sounds fantastic, very dynamic and mastered well. Minor surface noise but doesn’t detract from the music. Dead Oceans have done well with his last two albums in my opinion.

Spindle hole on my gold copy is slightly too small. Gets stuck on platter. Other than that sounds great.

I love the music, and the gold looks nice, but I had to change the record because of a BIG scratch on side A (the whole song « disappearing » was ruined)
And on the second copy I now have hardly noticeable but audible scratch on side B, lasting 3minutes.
2 defective records = poor control quality.

II lost the ticket so I can’t change it now.

Great album but... I cleaned the record ultrasonically, couldn't get rid of some crackle here and there.
Streaming it from Spotify (without DAC) sounds slightly better! The strings, piano, drums sound muddier on vinyl.
Go for this record if you are interested in merch... Sleeve is nice and well designed... So audiophiles beware...This is An Artifact...
I wish it was an analog 70s record, I would buy a MOFI version without hesitation...

Any significance to Room 409 at the Peabody Hotel (part of the fold out photos)? Google turned up diddly.

My copy has a small defect at the beginning of side A but nothing else major. A tiny bit of surface noise here and there but nothing that makes it unlistenable. Overall a decent pressing, and the gold nugget looks really good.

The color is wonderful, but my copy has an insane amount of surface noise. Anyone know if there are any good "gold nugget" copies out there?
